Amy: A picture of Maria that I drew today for the heck of it. I'm kind of lacking in inspiration right now (and lacking the focus to draw most of the things I come up with) so I drew this to give me some more practice in drawing humans. Okay. I can draw their heads. Now I just need to work more on drawing their bodies. 
I used an image from Sonic X for reference, especially on her hair and the shading, but I didn't copy it. Instead, I drew this as Maria in shoujo-style. I like how it came out. Her hair shine was kind of a pain, because Maria isn't usually given a hair shine in front view, but I wanted her to have one.

Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactThis drawing is pretty good! The shading is spot on, and the colors didn't over lap, the face isn't round, it's a a real face shape, like a real person's face would be,not perfectly round and that you added a nice chin. The eye's have good color as well along how you did it. But the eye's seem to big and wide to me, and the eyebrows are too thick.
